The Senior Citizens of Morristown, TN was founded to provide a place for active Seniors to meet new people, learn new skills, stay active and fellowship.

At 50 years old, you become eligible to join the Senior Citizens center. Some of the special programs and services offered by the Senior Center and the Hamblen County Office on Aging are under the heading of SERVICES

The MISSION of the Hamblen County Senior Citizens Center is to enhance the quality of life of our senior citizens and to help them remain independent for as long as possible; It is also to provide educational activities and maintain a comfortable and safe place to socialize, make new friends and create memories.

Programs are planned to provide educational information, fellowship and fitness activities which will keep the body and mind active.  Outreach programs are designed to help prevent the loneliness and  isolation which are frequently a problem for people as they age.

In order to save postal charges, Senior Citizens Center will start asking those who have computer access to access the newsletter on this site. Just click on heading above entitled "Newsletter"

Starting November 1 and going until the end of November- FIND THE MONKEY

This website will have an image of a monkey hidden somewere on the site. It is a little more difficult than October's. You must be able to tell the director where you have found it and you will be entered onto a list for a prize award. This should be a fun game that everyone can enjoy. Say to all your friends "Find the monkey!" and let's have fun.
